Apple has always been in the news, whether it is the popularity of the first iPhone in 2007, or the launch of any new product. The current news that has stunned the Apple fans is about the new iPhone launch. It has been rumored that the new iPhone would have 4 inch display screen, about 30% increase compared to previous versions. The viewing area of the very first iPhone was 3.5 inches and was still considered in competition with many other Smartphone models.

Why Apple decided to use the larger screen in the new iPhone version? The answer is simple, to stay in tough competition with Samsung, the main rival having larger mobile screens. Major large screen mobiles of Samsung include Samsung Galaxy S III with 4.8 inches, Galaxy Note with 5.3 inches. Many other Smartphones have 4 inches screens like HTC One X that has a display screen of 4.7 inches. Despite all these facts, still it is hard to believe that Apple will go for a screen larger than 4 inches. 

According to recent reports, Apple has ordered its suppliers to come up with 4 inch screens who were previously supplying 3 inch screens. It shows that the launch of new iPhone is possible around the month of August. The company is also contracting new display screen suppliers like LG Display, Japan Display, and Sharp, which gives a clear hint about the launch of new iPhone.

Why big screen Smartphoens are in high demand by the consumers? The answer lies in the increasing trend of using mobiles for the tasks that are usually performed on laptops or desktop computers. Video watching is one of the major attractions for the Smartphone users who want to have high quality and clear display while using the smart device to watch the videos.

Analysts are giving their own views about the upcoming iPhone display screen and its impact over the design of the smart device. Shaw Wu, a Sterne Age analyst, stresses that the new design with larger display screen would appeal the iPhone fans.

The previous version of iPhone, iPhone 4S was just like the iPhone 4 version with few new additions. Immediately after the launch of iPhone 4S, software to unlock 4s iPhone also appeared in the market to enable the users getting maximum use of this smart device. Now, the fans are desperately waiting for a brand new model of the phone that could compete with all other companies in the Smartphone market.

To interest of the iPhone fans, Apple doesn’t manufacture its products, but make contracts with other supplier companies who use Asian parts to assemble the Smartphone. Samsung is the main competitor in the Smartphone industry that competes with Apple not only on the product end, but also on the design and patent issues at the legal front. The most interesting thing is that the Korean company who launched 4.8 inch display Samsung Smartphone is also the main supplier of Apple.

Despite all the things related to display, still every iPhone fan is anxiously waiting for the new launch by Apple. How it would mesmerize the fans, only time will reveal.
